General Application Steps

  1. Garment Preparation: Make sure the garment is clean and wrinkle free. For fabrics such as Lycra/Spandex, it is important that the garment is stretched before applying the design.

  2. Heat Press Settings: Set your heat press according to the parameter table above, taking into account the recommended temperature, time, and pressure for your specific garment material.

  3. DTF Design Placement: Position the DTF film on the garment with the design facing down. Consider using baking paper or Teflon paper between the press and the film to protect both the press and the design.

  4. Pressing: Apply the heat press with the appropriate pressure for the specified time. Pressure and time vary according to the material, so be sure to follow the recommendations for each type of fabric.

  5. Peeling: You can remove the transfer hot or cold, as you wish 😁.

Post-Application Care

  • Washing: Wash garments inside out in cold water. Avoid bleach and prefer to air dry or tumble dry on a gentle cycle.
  • Storage of unused DTF: Store any unused DTF transfer in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

Important Considerations

  • Perform tests on a small area or on a piece of fabric if it is your first time working with a specific material, to ensure that your heat press settings are appropriate.
  • Adjust the temperature and time according to the specific composition of the fabric, especially for blends, to obtain the best results.
